RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing announced today the addition of Kelli Yarbrough as vice president of loan retention.
Yarbrough will be responsible for all aspects of customer contact in the loan retention process for RoundPoint MSR portfolio. She brings with her over 16 years of experience leading both sales and operations teams in wholesale, retail and director-to-consumer channels.
Yarbrough is licensed as a mortgage loan originator in 47 states and as a qualified individual in 23 states.
"We realized some time ago that borrower retention would emerge as a competitive imperative for servicers," RoundPoint CEO Kevin Brungardt said. "To ensure that RoundPoint is the very best at serving borrowers, offering a mortgage as part of our homeownership marketplace product suite is critical.”
“We knew we needed the right executive to lead that team and the positioning of the mortgage product in our marketplace,” Brungardt said. “We know Kelli and we know her capabilities. She is exactly what we need in this position and I'm very glad we were able to attract her back into the company."
One of Yarbrough’s responsibilities includes establishing an origination division to retain current portfolio customers that may be refinancing. Development includes systems, best practices for sales, operations procedures, training and compliance for the entire lifecycle of the loan.
"This is a critical position for RoundPoint and so we embarked on a comprehensive search for the right candidate," said Kate Lewis, RoundPoint Senior Vice President of Human Resources . "Kelli Yarbrough was not only the best qualified for this position, but the breadth and depth of her mortgage experience offered us more than we expected to find in the market today.”
“Having her in this position will make RoundPoint a stronger competitor and much better at managing one of the most significant risks servicers and investors face in the current environment," Lewis said.
