Real estate agent Jim Olsen told the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel that he thought it was a simple showing.
Instead his prospective rental tenant lured him into an ambush.
Once inside the property, two masked men appeared. They pushed Olsen to the ground and hit him in the back of the head with a gun.
The attackers fled with his cash, phone and wedding ring.
David Paulsen, the breaking news editor at the publication, published Olsen's words of caution and shared a graphic photo of the attack.
