From watching Harry Potter sleep in a cupboard under the stairs to seeing his aunt inflate in the backyard, people practically grew up in Harry Potter’s home as if he was their friend, watching his life unfold in eight major-motion hits. Now, according to an article from the Daily Mail by Rebecca Taylor, fans can actually live there.
The article revealed that the current owner of the three-bedroom home, which is actually located in Bracknell, Berkshire, put the house on the market for $619,230 (£475,000).
From the article:
Better known as 4 Privet Drive, the home in Martins Heron, Bracknell was the set for the Dursleys home in the first Harry Potter film.
It was picked in 2001 to be the set in which we would first meet Daniel Radcliffe's Harry, forced to live under the stairs by cruel Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon.
According to the listing, the home is: 'Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location, this detached property has recently undergone complete renovation to an extremely high standard.'
