Dallas-based Guardian Mortgage Company announced a partnership with Blend, a mortgage technology company and winner of HousingWire Tech 100 in 2015, to launch a digital mortgage.
According to Guardian, borrowers can now securely apply for a mortgage in minutes and track their progress on any desktop, tablet or mobile device.
“We are thrilled to deliver a more efficient and accelerated loan process for our clients while ensuring the safety and integrity of all data with bank-grade security,” said Russell Anderson, Guardian’s president and CEO. “Guardian now offers a complete digital mortgage experience.”
The industry is making a strong effort to go more digital since it can focus less on the regulation it spent the last few years implementing.
Guardian is the latest in a string of lenders looking to go more digital. Back in May, Mason-McDuffie Mortgage also announced it is partnering with Blend to grow its digital presence.
