According to MarketWatch, private-sector employment growth slowed in October, with employers adding 130,000 jobs.
Analysts polled by MarketWatch had expected an October gain of 150,000, compared with an originally estimated increase of 166,000 in September. On Wednesday ADP revised September's gain to 145,000. Some analysts use ADP's data for guidance on the U.S. Department of Labor's employment report, which will be released next week and covers private and public workers.
