Property preservation and inspections firm Mortgage Contracting Services named Robert Colbeck chief technology officer this week.
The Plano, Texas-based firm said Colbeck will work out of the company’s Tampa operations center, bringing more than 18 year of IT experience to his role.
He joined MCS in 2004 and is one of the original architects of the company’s web-based tech portal, known as MCS360. The company constructed the system to allow for multi-tier communications and real-time message delivery for work orders.
Prior to joining MCS close to ten years ago, Colbeck served Franklink Templeton Investments as a consultant, supporting business and systems analysis and database design among other initiatives.
He held similar positions at GTE, Tech Data Corp., DIMAC Direct Inc. and LeGrand Computer Services.
