Costley brings more than 25 years of experience in advising financial services companies on the development and offering of investment products and services to Ballard Spahr.

“Costley has negotiated and closed more than 50 transactions involving fund investments in early-stage companies, on both the debt and equity side, and has negotiated the sale of early-stage companies to both public and private buyers,” Ballard Spahr said in a release.

“In addition, Costley has significant experience advising clients on issues involving regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings.”

Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Costley was with Drinker Biddle, where he counseled one of the largest financial services companies in the nation on its industry-leading investment advisory programs.
