Regional financial services company BOK Financial recently announced it named J. Edward "Ed" Adams as its new retail mortgage channel leader.
In his new role, Adams will direct and expand the bank’s retail mortgage lending efforts for BOK Financial’s mortgage origination operations in 15 cities across an eight-state footprint: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
“Ed’s extensive experience in retail mortgage sales at super-regional banks will complement our strong history and experienced team in place at BOK Financial,” said Glenn Brunker, president of BOK Financial Mortgage.
“Ed’s addition to our team will help us increase operational excellence, continue to recruit top talent, and provide clients an exceptional mortgage experience,” added Brunker.
With 29 years of retail mortgage lending experience, Adams recently served as division manage for U.S. Bank Home Mortgage’s South California and Arizona markets.
Prior to U.S. Bank, Adams acted as executive vice president at Downey Savings and Loan managing wholesale and retail delivery channels. Adams also served as retail sales division manager for Wachovia Bank as well as division manager at World Savings and Loan.
Adams serves on the executive committee for NeighborWorks of Orange County as well as serving on the Corporate Board of Governors as a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
