National appraisal management company CoesterVMS hired former Iowa appraisal board regulator Toni Bright as their chief compliance officer.
With more than 10 years of experience in real estate and compliance, Bright will be responsible for Coester's compliance department and have far-reaching responsibilities for state licensing, regulatory exams, privacy, quality control, fraud, consumer complaints, pending legislation, TILA, RESPA, GLB and more, the company said in a statement.
"Toni is very talented and has a very strong track record as a regulator and legislator,” said Brian Coester, CEO of CoesterVMS.

Prior to joining the company, Bright was in charge of multiple boards for the state of Iowa as a regulator for the last 10 years.
