The film superhero and his wife, model-actress Elsa Pataky, bought the house three years ago from actors Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski for $4.8 million.
Hedged by mature trees on an acre in the Point Dume area, the remodeled Victorian-style house has 6,800 square feet of space across three floors. Front-facing windows, balconies and wide verandas take in mountain and ocean views.
Remodeled interiors include formal living and dining rooms, a chef’s kitchen with a center island, a library and an atrium. Warming wood floors, contemporary light fixtures, vaulted ceilings and three glass fireplaces are among the details.
The home also includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms including a master suite with a sitting area and a pair of walk-in closets. A private lanai sits off the master bedroom. Rolling lawns, a self-contained guesthouse and a detached garage make up the grounds.
Per the article, Ryan Davis of John Aaroe Group was the listing agent and Chris Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage represented the buyer.
According to multiple news outlets, Hemsworth recently moved his family to his native Australia to raise his children out of the spotlight and with a bit of normalcy.
