Westcor Land Title Insurance Company announced the promotion of Scott Chandler from his current position as executive vice president and director of agency to chief operating officer effective immediately.
In his new position, Chandler will be responsible for the operating decisions for the company’s core business, including regional operations, the company’s national agency division and the lender services division. Chandler will continue his current leadership responsibilities for the company’s recently acquired title search company, Realty Data Company.
“It’s a wonderful time to be part of such an experienced and collaborative team at Westcor, where we continue to focus on the continued success of our employees and customers,” Chandler said.
Chandler will report to the President and CEO Mary O'Donnell.
He joined Westcor in 2006, and has served in various positions. Most recently, he was responsible for the management and growth of all regional and national operations.
“Scott has a great mix of leadership, operational experience and passion for our employees,” O’Donnell said. “His experience will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”
Chandler began working in the title insurance agency in 1983, where he worked in leadership roles with various national underwriters. He joined Westcor as the vice president and Western Regional manager in the Denver, Colorado office. In 2012, the company promoted him to executive vice president and director of agency, his most recent position.
