Strategic and methodical by nature, Abarca has grown from an underwriting manager with a team of 10, to a channel leader with a team of more than 300. Her dedication to process has enabled her to improve every department with which she has worked since she joined loanDepot. Under Abarca’s leadership, the company has seen a 25% year-over-year overall improvement in efficiencies, and, by end of year, projects that percentage to increase to 50%. Additionally, Abarca is instrumental in the development of additional underwriting process improvements. Abarca embraces challenges—no matter how large or extensive—and breaks them into digestible, attainable goals.
