Homebridge brings on Kevin Kelly as area manager for Southern Virginia

Company says it is prioritizing growth in this region

Homebridge Financial Services, a non-bank mortgage lending firm, announced the addition of mortgage industry veteran Kevin Kelly this week. Kelly will join the company as area manager for Southern Virginia.

According to the company, this hire marks a continuation of Homebridge prioritizing growth in the southeastern U.S.

In his new role, Kelly will focus on increasing Homebridge’s presence in the Richmond area through, according to the announcement, “recruitment efforts aimed at establishing new branches staffed by accomplished and highly-proficient mortgage loan originators who share the company’s dedication to customer service.”

Prior to Homebridge, Kelly served as both recruiter and vice president of mortgage lending for Guaranteed Rate. He has also worked as a senior loan officer for DHI Mortgage as well as a branch manager and loan officer for Residential Finance Corporation. In total, he brings close to 30 years of industry experience to the role.

“Homebridge holds a very unique place in the mortgage industry,” Kelly said. “It has the funding and infrastructure in place to provide mortgage loan originators with the critical resources for success that are expected from a national mortgage lender, along with a dedicated focus on the success of its employees.”

“Too often, we forget that it’s people that drive the mortgage industry,” he added. “From providing its associates with class-leading marketing initiatives to mentorship opportunities and one of the most diverse product lines in the industry, Homebridge offers a refreshing opportunity for mortgage professionals at every level.”
