MetLife Bank Adds Stephen Eastman to Reverse Mortgage Division

201003301449.jpg MetLife Bank announced that Stephen Eastman of Raymond, ME has joined the company as a Reverse Mortgage Consultant for Maine and New Hampshire.

“I am excited to have Steve join the MetLife Bank family, to help meet the needs of a growing number of consumers in northern New England who are considering whether a reverse mortgage is a good fit for their retirement needs,” said Eric P. Declercq, vice president of MetLife Bank.

“Reverse mortgages can enable many Americans to live comfortably in their homes during their retirement years. However, it takes an individual with a great deal of specialized knowledge to help people make the best, most informed decisions. Steve has these qualities, and makes an excellent addition to the MetLife Bank team.”

Prior to joining MetLife Bank, Eastman worked for 8 years as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist for Financial Freedom, helping hundreds of seniors learn about reverse mortgages said the company.

He has owned and managed several businesses in Maine, and graduated from Husson College in Bangor, ME with a degree in Business.

According to data from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, MetLife has endorsed 137 HECMs during FY 2010.
