For longtime readers of Reverse Mortgage Daily, many have participated in industry dialogue by commenting in response to articles on RMD. The success of RMD was built on community, and we appreciate that comments are an important way to support productive industry discourse.
Comments were disabled for several months following a RMD website redesign earlier this year, and we heard from many readers who missed the ability to discuss the articles.
In response, RMD is making comments available once again — this time with a new moderating process and commenting guidelines. These guidelines are designed to keep the conversation productive, and we reserve the right to change this approach at any time, should we find that comments are impacting the reverse mortgage industry’s forward movement.
The new comments will:
- Require all commenters to register with an active LinkedIn account (please note, registration will be required of all users upon first comment under the new system)
- Verify all users have an identifiable business email address, and an office phone number
- Be subject to moderation among RMD management
- Be made available at the sole discretion of RMD management
RMD will make this privilege available only as long as the comments lead to a respectful and productive conversation. RMD reserves the right to permanently disable commenting in the future if this standard is not met.
Thank you for your support.
