ReverseVision Adds ServiceLink Flood Products to RVX System

Provider of software and technology for the reverse mortgage industry, ReverseVision announced yesterday that it has completed an integration with the program, ServiceLink Flood, from the national provider of transaction services to the mortgage and finance industries, ServiceLink.

ServiceLink Flood allows users of ReverseVision’s flagship loan origination software, RV Exchange (RVX), to order a “life loan” flood certification from ServiceLink without leaving the RVX system, according to a press release.

“ServiceLink’s fully digital national flood maps are among the most accurate and comprehensive in the industry, allowing us to consistently deliver the higher hit rates and quicker turn times that have made us a preferred provider among originators,” Mark Reedy, managing director of ServiceLink National Flood, said in the press release. “We are delighted to join forces with ReverseVision to bring best-in-class flood certification to our mutual customers.”

The ServiceLink Flood tool provides an aerial product overlaid with a street map and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) special flood hazard area map that allows the lender and borrower to verify that the home is within a FEMA flood zone.

Another benefit of the product is that lender clients are able to identify if there are multiple structures on one given property.

“We are always looking for opportunities to partner with the providers our customers know and prefer. Ultimately, our goal is to make the ordination of reverse mortgage in RVX as fast, cost-effective and compliant as possible,” Wendy Peel, vice president of sales and marketing at ReverseVision, said. “This connection with ServiceLink serves that mission by making the flood certification order and delivery process simpler and more efficient.”

This integration allows ServiceLink flood products to be ordered within RVX as of the system’s 6.2 update.
