Freddie Mac Multifamily is a division of the government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), otherwise known as Freddie Mac. It purchases and securitizes mortgage loans on multifamily properties, with more than 90% of the apartments it finances being affordable for low- to moderate-income renters according to internal estimates.

Founded in 1970, Freddie Mac Multifamily is based in McLean, Virginia.
