Tracey Velt: What excites you the most about the real estate industry in the next year?
Alex Vidal: I think this is going to sound kind of cliche, but the one thing we’ve forgotten in our industry is the ability to have deep, meaningful connections with people that are not in the industry, especially now with all the noise that’s going on. It’s getting really mainstream now. We’re getting a lot of questions and I don’t think a lot of people know how to coach and teach that.
They want to teach AI and they want to teach chatGPT, and all this other stuff. When in reality, now that that’s no longer the disruptor, that’s where everybody is. That’s the norm. The disruptor now is the ability to have these really great conversations with people. So if I can help coach our agents to have those conversations and build stronger relationships, they’re just going to be happier in general because they have stronger relationships and it will lead to more business. That’s what really excites me for 2024.
