Florida Broker Tim Weisheyer on embracing innovation and building future leaders

Tracey Velt:  I want to talk about the most adventurous thing that you have done, whether it’s career oriented or personal.

Tim Weisheyer: I think it’s career oriented, I’m an entrepreneur by nature. I’m always willing to start and invest in new companies. I guess for some that’s considered adventurous. There’s certainly risk involved with it every time you do it. If you go on the more personal side, I love adventure and the outdoors. Whether it’s bungee jumping or racing cars or surfing or rock crawling, the idea of always being involved in adventure in some way, it’s just really ingrained in who I am.

And if anyone follows the personality profile Enneagram, I’m a seven, which is called the enthusiast or the adventurer. So I’m the guy that if you call me at two in the morning and say I have a great idea, let’s go do this. As long as it’s not illegal and I’m not going to die, then I’m probably going to go do it with you. I just really enjoy finding exciting things in life to be a part of.
