Mortgage Rates Hit Another Record Low

Mortgage rates fell again in the week ending April 2, hitting another record-breaking low, according to Freddie Mac’s [stock FRE][/stock] Primary Mortgage Market Survey released Thursday. 30-year fixed-rate mortgages averaged 4.78 percent with an average 0.7 point, down from last week’s 4.85 percent average, and far below the average last year at this time — 5.88 percent.
