As Opendoor’s head of business development, Alex Toth has spent the past eight years fueling the company’s success and transforming real estate experiences for consumers, homebuilders, and agents across the country. Since 2017, Toth has directly contributed to billions of dollars in new home sales with Opendoor, helped launch new partnerships with leading builders and brokerages, and brought the company’s tools into the hands of hundreds of thousands of consumers and professionals across the country.

Opendoor’s acquisitions from Q1 2024 paint the picture: The company purchased 3,458 homes, up 98% versus Q1 2023. This year-over-year increase was partially driven by continued growth across partnership channels, including both builder and agent initiatives.
