Jim Black is a leader and industry innovator who is an active advisor in over a half-dozen fintech and proptech companies. He has helped over 8,500 families achieve the dream of home ownership, bringing together industry leaders from every corner of the industry in an effort to develop the best possible solutions for consumers.

Black brings his decades of knowledge to Revest Homes’ real estate and lending teams. He is heavily involved in local trade organizations, participates in multiple groups, and serves on boards at the local Association of Realtors, including Women’s Council of Realtors, Modern Real Estate Professionals, and Education Committee. Black is an active member of the Mortgage Brokers Association and is a California Captain Broker Action Coalition PAC (BACPAC). His involvement in the real estate community, both at large and locally, enables him to be in the know about industry trends at all market levels. He couples his decades of experience with current market knowledge to create novel technology and solutions at the organization by partnering strategically with like-minded companies. He has also helped the company to achieve “best of” awards every year from both local and national publications.

As a past winner of the Affiliate of the Year in his local association, to California Association of Realtors (CAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR) engagement and involvement, Jim is actively involved in leadership and mentorship with his team and through industry committees. In addition to his real estate involvement, Black also remains one of the top 100 MLOs in the mortgage broker category for the nation. Balancing production and profitability, recruiting both MLOs and Realtors, advising and actively investing in multiple companies is something that is not easy to maintain, but Black ties together the complementary aspects of his duties to make a big impact in the industry, helping families make the most important and largest financial decision of their life.
