Jonna Critchley’s outstanding organizational and technical expertise is an engine that propels MISMO’s efficiency and ability to facilitate standards development across the mortgage finance industry. She has created a series of complex organizational systems — including the all-encompassing MISMO Manufacturing System (MMS) — that help MISMO meet its goals. These systems enable MISMO to track activities associated with 38 disparate industry workgroups and 43 initiatives currently in development. Critchley is a detail-oriented manager who further oversees the work of all the facilitators who support MISMO’s 30-plus industry workgroups, accelerating time to market for key industry solutions.
Although Critchley’s work is predominantly behind the scenes, her work is a major part of MISMO’s success. Critchley supports MISMO’s product team and its initiatives. Recently, Critchley facilitated the expansion of the MISMO Certification programs and the MISMO Initiative Sponsorship program. Both these programs are a service to the industry, and Critchley did a large part of the leg work associated with launching both initiatives.
Critchley leads by example, and is extremely reliable and thorough with the execution of any task she is given, no matter how small or large. She provides guidance to her team to ensure every member who works with MISMO is heard and their needs are met. MISMO members know they can come to Critchley for help and she will give them an answer or find someone who can. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she is a committed team player, attributes that make her a tremendous asset to MISMO and the mortgage finance industry.
