For more than eight years, Karleen Desai has been an indispensable and strategic leader in developing the core products that make LERETA a leading national provider of real estate tax and flood services for mortgage servicers. After starting as a consultant to the company, she was quickly brought in-house to establish the project management office, and only six months later was asked to help lead the development team for a huge, new proprietary product that became Total Tax Solutions. Her strong analytical background and experience as a strategic business analyst has inextricably contributed to LERETA’s success.
For the past year, Desai and her team have focused on developing new features and enhancements to Total Tax Solutions in order to continually improve the benefits, efficiencies and cost savings it delivers to clients. This includes smaller, specific features that are unique to a client’s loan servicing system as well as larger, enterprise-wide enhancements that benefit all clients across the board. Desai has been responsible for expanding automation and developing new workflows that deliver productivity lifts to clients, allowing them to save time and money with their operations.
Desai embodies one of the principal foundations that define LERETA: putting clients first and developing products that meet their specific pain points. She has proven to be an expert in identifying what clients need and developing targeted solutions that meet customized, client-informed business rules and compliance requirements. She is proactive in exploring opportunities to improve automation and streamline operations.
