As Vice President, Mortgage Marketing Director at FirstBank Mortgage, Laura Byrum leads a group of content developers, social media trainers and digital platform specialists. As a leader, Byrum stays in tune to what is happening on a day-to-day basis, leading this group through a sometimes challenging 18 months. 

Under Byrum’s leadership, in the last six months her team has developed a FTHB path, an educational and relational campaign to increase knowledge, confidence, and promote responsible homeownership. The FTHB path comes complete with a detailed guide, and a number of cross sell automated initiatives to help build deposits, overseen and directed content for every new program FirstBank rolled out, working with the company’s new servicing platform to maximize loan officer and company messaging. 

Additionally, Byrum has helped host countless loan officer trainings, developed and executed the company’s SMS status messaging to customers, handled most of the interface between compliance and production in addition to regular marketing duties like overseeing our CRM and LO websites. 

Byrum’s marketing excellence has been an integral contribution to FirstBank’s success and fuels the company’s top three market share status in some of the best markets in the country. Byrum’s hard work and accomplishments have made her an invaluable asset to her team.
