Sydney Barber joined Floify in 2019, and her outstanding product leadership quickly propelled her through the ranks to head of product. Barber is a hands-on leader for every new feature and integration at Floify, having spearheaded more than 100 product updates in the past three years to help customers operate more efficiently in a volatile market. Her dedication to continuously adding value for Floify users directly contributed to the company achieving a 97.6% customer satisfaction score in 2023.
Over the past year, Barber spearheaded dozens of product enhancements to help customers operate more efficiently in a volatile market. In December 2023, Barber’s team launched Floify Broker Edition to make managing loans simpler for brokers at an accessible price point. In March 2024, Floify released Floify Lender Edition, which introduces a number of enhancements and new integrations that benefit mortgage lenders. In fall 2023, Barber released a verification of income (VOI) and verification of employment (VOE) feature that enables mortgage professionals to view the results of multiple verification reports from different providers, starting with the least expensive, rather than having to run each one individually. In October 2024, Floify will release Floify Verify, allowing lenders to electronically verify or reverify VOI/E at a lower cost than legacy providers without managing additional vendors.
Barber champions new product features that improve homeownership accessibility, e.g., Floify was the first POS to offer translations on loan applications, offer ADA-compliant borrower interfaces, and support Fannie and Freddie’s initiative to consider on-time rent payments as valid AUS inputs. Her commitment to staff development helps guide enhanced product design and speed turn times.
