Sher has demonstrated exceptional leadership and professional excellence throughout his career in the mortgage industry. Starting as a loan originator with NFM Lending in 1998, he founded Citizens Lending Group in 2003, growing it into a successful correspondent lender before merging it back with NFM in 2009, bringing 106 employees with him. His innovative strategies in recruiting and marketing have transformed NFM into a Top 25 national lender. Notably, he launched NFM TV in 2017, earning a prestigious Telly Award in 2020 for an interview honoring a fallen soldier, and initiated the NFM Salute Series in 2015 to highlight military personnel. In January 2020, Sher introduced the mortgage sector’s first Influencer Division, generating over 50,000 exclusive purchase leads by January 2023, showcasing his forward-thinking approach.
