Overfelt has done an excellent job building a sustainable growth platform at ASMC. Under his leadership, ASMC has seen a 30% increase in loan production, achieved by hiring new people and entering new markets while retaining the existing team. ASMC has increased its product offerings by 35% year-over-year. Combining this with training, transparency and sticking to ASMC’s core values, the average LO at ASMC is closing 75% more than the industry average. Twenty-two percent of ASMC LOs are Scotsman-level producers. Achieving profitability in this market is difficult. Overfelt’s focus on loan officer productivity, streamlining processes, driving efficient pricing strategies, and closely reviewing hidden profit and loss costs has resulted in AMC’s average expenses being 41% less than its peers.

Outside of the mortgage industry, Overfelt supports schools in his local community and others who need a hand.
