Under Sharma’s leadership, Mr. Cooper partnered with Google to create Pyro AI, its award-winning, patented mortgage-centric AI solution. The platform digitizes and optimizes processes such as classifying documents, extracting data and predicting fees using machine learning (ML) throughout the entire mortgage lifecycle. Mr. Cooper typically ingests hundreds of thousands of documents when doing business on any given day. Pyro can scan and read these documents using mortgage-specific learning models, harnessing AI to recognize and classify the data and populate it directly into its system. This ML model processes more than 2,200 pages per minute and classifies documents into groups/categories with more than 97% accuracy so the entire Mr. Cooper team can focus more time and resources on customers rather than paperwork.
