Since joining the mortgage industry after graduating college, Devon Bevis has spent the last 15 years in business-to-business sales, with the last three years leading Mr. Cooper’s B2B sales team (correspondent and co-issue). Recently promoted to senior vice president in April 2024, Bevis supports more than 800 Mr. Cooper B2B clients while directly managing a group of ten sales team members. She also played a crucial role driving sustained growth at the company, which led to achieving $1 trillion in servicing and establishing Mr. Cooper as the largest mortgage servicer in the U.S.

Under Bevis’s leadership, her team paved the way to lead Mr. Cooper to become the No. 1 co-issue buyer in the marketplace according to Refinitiv Data. This remarkable milestone was achieved by onboarding new customers, obtaining strong market share from existing customers and coaching clients to adopt the co-issue delivery method. Over the last year, Mr. Cooper tripled co-issue volume and added 100-plus new co-issue partners —an increase of 900% since 2019. This growth is a testament to her leadership and passion to be the best. Devon has played a key role in closing many of these deals and has provided the required training, data on targets and coaching to her sales teammates.

New client acquisition from B2B originations catapulted Mr. Cooper over the $1 trillion servicing portfolio in unpaid principal balance, making the company the largest mortgage servicer in the industry. Devon specifically brought in record MSRs through bulk acquisitions, correspondent and co-issue.
