Jan Davis is recognized throughout the mortgage industry as a convener and a connector. She regularly plans several summits each year that attract professionals from across the mortgage finance sector to work on some of the most pressing challenges facing the industry. Currently, she serves as the vice president of operations at MISMO, where she is responsible for managing MISMO operations and governance.

In addition to being a subject matter expert, Davis brings her stellar organizational, interpersonal and project management skills to her role at MISMO. Furthermore, MISMO members know that if they have a request or a question, they can reliably come to Jan, and she will find them an answer. In particular, MISMO has served as a platform for industry implementation discussions related to the credit score and credit reporting changes announced by FHFA for the GSEs, all facilitated by Davis. MISMO has held a series of topical events related to the credit scoring changes. From the very first announcement, Davis has made sure that MISMO is providing the resources — including education, planning, and discussion — the industry needs to navigate and implement these changes. She has planned additional content focused on the credit scoring changes at the upcoming MISMO Summit.

Davis is a valuable part of solidifying MISMO’s role as an aggregator for the mortgage finance industry. Within the organization, Davis is a mentor to younger staff members and can consistently be relied upon as a team player. She will roll up her sleeves to get the job done alongside her teammates. Davis regularly dedicates effort above and beyond to serving her organization and its members, and her many talents are very valuable to MISMO.
