As Executive Vice President of Strategy at Freedom Mortgage, Kiran Sahota has transformed the technology function and led strategic technology initiatives that have enhanced the company’s continued success since joining the company in 2020. In addition to transitioning all platforms across the company to a more secure and scalable cloud environment, Sahota and her team have implemented a new POS platform for the company’s loan officers, leveraged AI and built proprietary AI-enabled automation platforms to maximize productivity and accelerate closing speeds.

Sahota leads a team of nearly 1,000 and specializes in building and executing strategies to maximize individual, team and organizational performance. She is driven by boundless stamina, an unwavering focus on continuous collaboration and a relentless drive to ensure all teams, especially loan officers, can quickly access the right loan solutions for every customer, every day.

Over the past year in particular, Sahota has led several transformative technology initiatives that have resulted in greater efficiency and improved customer experiences resulting in an industry leading NPS score of 85 and improving loan processing capacity by 3x across the operations functions.

Chief among these initiatives has been transitioning Freedom Mortgage to a “cloud first” environment so that the company can quickly and efficiently scale its operations up or down based on current business needs. Additionally, Sahota led efforts to implement a new CRM and POS platforms for Freedom Mortgage’s loan officers; enabling them to have a 360-degree view of every customer. This has improved agents’ productivity and empowered them to deliver a personalized experience — fulfilling customer needs with one call.
