2024 Woman of Influence: Margy Grant

Margy Grant

Margy Grant is the first female CEO of Florida Realtors and leads a diverse team of professionals who support a Realtor membership of 238,000. She oversees the creation and delivery of products, tools, programs and services that enable Realtors to deliver exemplary service to homebuyers and sellers, boost their business, stay on the right side of the law and achieve success in their profession and industry. A recognized real estate industry leader who is tapped frequently to head national initiatives, she excels at bringing people together, developing new leaders and turning challenges into opportunities.

As the mother of three successful college kids, Grant understands the need for work/life balance and extends that empathy to her employees. In 2024, Florida Realtors launched paid paternity leave as part of its employee benefit plan; up to four weeks of paid family leave to care for a child after birth or adoption or foster care placement. Grant’s empathy and leadership fosters an environment that enables Florida Realtors to be named by Florida Trend magazine in 2024 as a “Best Company to Work for in Florida” and by the Orlando Sentinel as a “Top Workplace in Central Florida” — both accolades going strong for three years and counting.

She leads by example as she works in partnership with others, relying on collaboration and communication to achieve successful results as a Florida Realtors team. Recent successes include the Tech Helpline and Form Simplicity being named to HousingWire’s Tech100 for 2024 (and 2023), which honors the top 100 technology solutions and companies in real estate. Another accomplishment: Christine Hansen, the 2018 president of Florida Realtors, has just been elected as the 2025 first vice president for the National Association of Realtors following a multi-faceted campaign directed by Florida Realtors.
