Since joining New American Funding in February, Gatling has made significant strides, particularly with the evolution of the New American Dream Initiative, taking direct, action-oriented steps to increase Black homeownership. Additionally, Gatling launched a specialized training program for NAF’s loan officers that not only addresses the unique challenges faced by Black borrowers and other underserved communities. Gatling’s training program also focuses on business-building strategies based on the methods she used to develop her own $100 million mortgage business while serving these communities.
