As Executive Vice President of Class Union, Class Valuation’s division dedicated solely to credit unions, Sally Carothers brings not only a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience to the role, but also a genuine passion for the credit unions she serves. As a result, Class Valuation continues to grow its credit union client base both in number and satisfaction.

Carothers joined Class Valuation last fall via its acquisition of TrUnion, where she served as president. She now leads Class Union, a division that specializes in managing valuation services for credit unions. Since the acquisition and formation of Class Union, Carothers has stepped into her role with enthusiasm and drive. Less than halfway through the year, Class Union is already 20% above its revenue goal. Appraisal order count has increased 35% since January and revenue is up 29%. Additionally, the Class Union team has been boots on the ground at numerous events, helping train credit union professionals on all things appraisal. Under Carothers’s relation-focused leadership, Class Union is continually receiving high praise from its credit union clients.

As an industry leader, Carothers has been at the forefront in providing education and policy for credit unions and appraisers to prevent valuation bias and discrimination. She continues to do so at Class Valuation, and actively partners with appraisal firms that promote appraiser diversity and is developing an appraiser diversity scholarship program to encourage greater access to fair housing education.
