Sofia Rossato was tapped as president and general manager of Floify in Spring 2022 to lead the popular mortgage point-of-sale company after its acquisition by Porch Group. Taking the helm of a fintech company during a historically brutal housing market, Rossato has proven her mettle as a leader by strengthening Floify’s market footprint with customer empathy and business acumen. Since taking the helm, she has infused new life into the popular mortgage point-of-sale (POS), overseeing the rapid rollout of features that help its lenders and broker customers optimize operations and improve borrower service.

Rossato was handed the reins at Floify in 2022, right as market headwinds began challenging lenders. Undeterred, Rossato accelerated major product releases to help Floify’s lender and broker clients navigate historically low origination volume. During the past year, Rossato has overseen the rollout of product enhancements that address cost and process challenges. Last fall, she greenlit a verification of income and employment waterfall workflow, and oversaw the launch of Floify Broker Edition (December 2023) and Floify Lender Edition (March 2024).

Rossato’s unique background and serious fintech business credentials inform her leadership philosophy and have enabled her to uplift Floify. She believes that women on the rise in business should reach back to help others. She is active in the MBA’s mPower initiative that fosters leadership among women in housing finance, serves as a board advisor to the Broker Action Coalition and was invited to speak at AIME’s 2023 Diversity Summit. Additionally, Rossato participates in Habitat for Humanity events and is a recurring guest speaker for Jobs for the Future, a nonprofit group focused on economic Empowerment.
