2024 Woman of Influence: Tanya Reu-Narvaez

Tanya Reu-Narvaez

Tanya Reu-Narvaez serves as chief people officer for Anywhere, and in her role, she directly influences all aspects of the employee experience, engagement, talent management, compensation and benefits and inclusion for the entire enterprise. She is the cornerstone of the company’s human-first culture and is a trailblazer who embraces the future of work. Additionally, she is a major proponent of vocalizing, educating and implementing inclusion as part of business strategies to better serve underrepresented communities through homeownership, entrepreneurship and careers.

Reu-Narvaez believes in a people-centric culture so much so, that she chose her title to reflect the people aspect of Anywhere. She is a firm believer that people are a company’s biggest asset and advantage and if there is a culture that empowers them to succeed, that’s when real change starts. She understands that flexibility means offering employees autonomy and trust to do what they need to do to be successful. Reu-Narvaez created the Going Further Together principles giving employees permission to own their day — whether that be saving an email until business hours or keeping the calendar free of internal meetings on Fridays.

Anywhere employees continue to embrace the four guiding principles developed under Reu-Narvaez’s leadership called the Winning Behaviors that aim to drive business and strategic transformation, inspire culture shifts and lead employees to long-term success. She is a forward-thinking leader who understands the urgency of adapting to workforce trends as well as thinking long-term for what the employee of the future will need to be successful.
